On Friday, Schickler Elementary, 2020 W. Oregon Rd. in Lapeer,  and its Parent-Teacher Organization will be sponsoring a free carnival. The event will run from 5-7 p.m. There will be a variety of events for all to participate in. Take some time to  support Schickler Elementary students and staff.

On Tuesday afternoon, 36 students stayed after school to take part in a supper/tutoring program at Schickler Elementary. The students, mostly in first and second grade, received a light supper before breaking off into groups for tutoring.
