Six pieces of artwork created  by LHS students, from the top 100 in the state, were accepted into the Michigan Youth Arts Festival show. The artists are James Felton, Olivia Coulter, Jeslyn Vollmers, Lea Herr, Kelee Byard and Olivia Phillips. Their art will be on display at Western Michigan University, May 12-14.

Olivia Coulter and Jeslyn Vollmers were among the top 25 artists; they will be a part of the Governor’s Traveling Art Show that will visit high schools across the state.

LHS will host the show in the library during the month of November.

Olivia Coulter was also given another high honor as her work was chosen as on one of the top 18. She will be honored at a luncheon next month.
