Lapeer Community Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Mr. Austin Green as the new Dean of Students/Building Athletic Manager for Lapeer High School.

Mr. Green will start to transition to his new role on April 15 and will work with Mr. Mike Smith, current LHS Dean of Students.

No stranger to LCS, Mr. Green has previously served as Dean of Students at Mayfield Elementary School and Zemmer Middle School, in addition to serving as Assistant Varsity Football Coach for 11 years, starting at Lapeer East and then at Lapeer High School, Assistant Varsity Track Coach for four years and 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach for four years.

He has also worked for a local real estate firm.

Mr. Smith will be retiring in June at the conclusion of the 2023-24 school year.
