Rolland-Warner Parents —

We wanted to inform you of an inappropriate video posted by a student on Instagram that was reported to district officials on Wednesday. The video was of what appeared to be an Airsoft or BB gun. Once it was brought to our attention, district officials and local law enforcement began an investigation and concluded there was no credible threat to students and staff at Rolland-Warner. 

The video did not contain any threatening language whatsoever, however we want all students to know that these types of posts are inappropriate and will not be tolerated. 

We want to assure you that the safety and security of our students and staff is, and always has been, our highest priority. We have taken all the steps necessary to ensure a safe and secure environment. As a District, we will continue to coordinate efforts with local law enforcement to safeguard our school and community.
