We are excited to announce Cayla Dowdall as the new principal of Murphy Elementary starting this summer. At the end of the current school year, Murphy Elementary principal Bob Downey will transition to a district administrative support position where he will remain until his retirement in September. 

Cayla is a high-energy, approachable and hard-working administrator who has more than a decade of experience as a teacher leader at the elementary level. She is currently the associate principal at the Zemmer 8-9 Campus and will remain in that position through the end of the school year.

Cayla is super excited to begin this new chapter and looks forward to meeting the students and staff at Murphy in the coming months.
