We are excited to announce that all members of the Lapeer Community Schools staff will participate in ALICE training in March. ALICE provides effective active shooter training and preparedness solutions to school districts across the country.

In order to accomplish the goal of being ALICE certified as a district, we must make the following change to our school calendar to accommodate a day of staff training: There will be no school for students on Friday, March 18. All other activities including athletics and extra-curriculars will continue as scheduled. There will also be transportation for students participating in Ed-Tech programming on March 18.

In addition, there will be no childcare at Kids & Company on March 11 or March 18 due to Alice training for staff.
