Center for the Arts to Honor High School Seniors With Window Display

The Center for the Arts is doing as much as possible to keep our community connected in this time of separation, and that includes celebrating important milestones for our youth. High school graduation is one of these milestones, and CFA is excited to announce that they will be honoring graduates in a new way this year. Students from Lapeer County who are graduating high school in 2020 are invited to send in their senior photo to CFA staff. The photos will then be printed and used to create a window display celebrating our graduates!

“Youth are an integral part of our Center for the Arts family,” says CFA Executive Director Jill Lyons. “Whether they have taken art or theater classes here, perhaps visited during a field trip, had their art shown in our student shows, or participated in a show at the PIX, we hope that CFA has influenced their life in a positive manner. And whether they have a love of the arts or not, we want them to feel celebrated for their academic achievement!”

Seniors interested in having their picture in the 2020 Court Street window display should email a high quality .jpeg image to info@gallery194.com, and be sure to include their name. The window will feature as many students as we are able to fit in the space, and a notice will be put up on our social media when the display is ready for viewing.
