Service Learning class at R-W to host afterschool art show

The 7th Grade Service Learning Class at Rolland-Warner Middle School will be hosting an art show after school on Wednesday, January 15, to benefit LACADA (Lapeer Area Citizens Against Domestic Abuse). Students have been working diligently, organizing and marketing this cultural event, and are hoping to showcase the artistic talents of their fellow students.

Students can enter a piece of art for $3 and there will be a $1 entry fee collected from students and others who would like to walk through the art gallery on the 15th. Art will be judged by Rolland-Warner teachers, with the winner receiving a prize. The show will be held in the Rolland-Warner Media Center, beginning around 4:00 pm.

Please feel free to walk through the gallery and support a great cause.
