Four from Lapeer East High School will participate this weekend in a leadership conference in Swartz Creek. Martin Flores, Lydia Scherwin, Mackenzy Kirklin, and Vanessa Sparkswill take part in the Hero Roundtable. These students applied for this opportunity that was made available to all Lapeer East High School students.
“This conference is a first ever interdisciplinary gathering of world renowned experts on heroism and leadership,” said Jeannine Baum, LEHS student council adviser. “After this experience, these students will be leaders in a building during a time of great change.”
Congratulations to these students for taking on leadership roles in our schools.
