Lapeer Community Schools and the Lapeer High School Alumni Association are proud to be able to induct the following alumni into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Honor this weekend:

• Dean Eckersley, LHS class of 1936 (deceased)J
• Joseph DeView, LHS class of 1946 (deceased)
• Dennis Keefer, LHS class of 1968
• Jake Long, Lapeer East class of 2003

The Distinguished Alumni Hall of Honor inductees will be honored at a special ceremony on Sunday, October 27, at 2 pm. The event will be held in the Irwin Board Room at the Administration & Services Center, 250 Second St., Lapeer. The community is welcome to attend.

Founded in 2006, The Distinguished Alumni Hall of Honor annually recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding men and women who graduated from Lapeer Community Schools. By celebrating these role models, we inspire today’s students to move forward in their own pursuit of excellence.
