This morning, the eighth grade Service Learning class, with the help of PTC members and LCS staff hosted the fourth Rolland Warner Middle School YA Café. Around 100 students gathered into the Rolland Warner Media Center to hear Mr. Short give a review of The Maze Runner by James Dashner.

Three student’s names were drawn to receive their own copy of the book. The three that won were sixth grader, Vanessa Sheatzley, and eighth graders, Zachary Bergstrom and Ashley Bruce.

There were seven books left over for other student’s to check out from the library afterwards. Everyone who showed up was given donuts and chocolate milk to enjoy while Mr. Short was presenting.
