Last spring, Whitetails Unlimited (Lapeer chapter), donated $3,440 to Rolland-Warner Middle School to go toward the purchase of Archery equipment for a Michigan DNR program called “Archery in the Schools”. This past month the school received in excess of $8,000 worth of archery equipment through a matching grant the Michigan DNR provides for the program.

Special Education teacher Mike Wiltse said that, once their location is set up in the school, they will begin to offer a “…new, yet rather ancient skill set to our student body.”
