Ella Coulter is not your typical third grader. She’s become a philanthropist long before most kids can even spell the word. Most recently, Ella received the Kohl’s Cares Kid’s Award from the Lapeer Kohl’s store. The award goes to kids who demonstrate a commitment to community service.
The award puts Ella in the running for the regional $1,000 scholarship.
Ella was honored back in March by Paradise Animal Rescue for her self-made marketing campaign to sell dog treats to raise funds for homeless animals. Ella ultimately made more than 5,000 dog treats for the fundraiser!
Keep up the great work Ella!
She also just fostered a puppy and found it a great home for Ortonville Dog Rescue. She is a huge help and we wish there were more kids like her!!!
Great Job Ella! See you next year!
