Rolland Warner students celebrated Reading Month with a little competition. I-connect classes participated in a door decorating contest that showcased various reading genres at each grade level. It was a great class-building experience for all rooms involved.
Students worked together to design and create their doorways from March 5-15. Doors were judged by support staff on creativity, effort, originality, use of space, and adaption of genre. They had a tough job — all the doors looked amazing! The contest winners were Ms. Burris’s room at 6th grade, Mrs. Thomas’s room at 7th grade, and Mrs. Wolfer’s room at 8th grade.
The three winning classes will be treated with donuts, drinks, and bragging rights until next year.
Great work everyone!
