NJHS students planned, organized, and hosted a week-long book drive to collect gently used and new books for the Lapeer Family Literacy Center. Through their hard work they collected well over 100 books from the students and staff at Zemmer Middle School.
The students were excited about doing things on a local level and helping out families in their own community. They have several other projects in the works in the coming months to also benefit local organizations.
Great job!
