Lapeer High School is excited to announce the hiring of Evan Bell as the new varsity girls’ basketball coach. Evan was most recently the head coach of the freshman girls’ basketball team at Howell (MI) High School.

Evan is a 2021 graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he earned a BA in Secondary Education. He is certified as a teacher in English and Physical Education. 

“Evan has a passion for coaching and a desire to connect with students in new and creative ways,” said LHS Athletic Director Shad Spilski. “We are confident that he will be a great fit for our program and we are excited to introduce him to our community.”

Coach Bell will begin in his new position immediately in order to coordinate activities for the summer.
