Starting in the 2019-20 school year, the Zemmer (8-9) and Rolland-Warner (6-7) campuses will have two familiar faces in new administrative positions. With the retirement of Zemmer Principal Amy Maruca slated for the end of the school year, the District is excited to announce that a transition plan is already in place.
2019-20 Administrative Transition Plan:
• Rolland-Warner Principal Jeff Stanton will become the Principal at the Zemmer Campus. Zemmer Associate Principal Zach Hamilton will remain in his current role.
• Current Associate Principal Wyatt Stevens will assume the role of principal at Rolland-Warner. As a result, the District will need to fill the associate principal vacancy at Rolland -Warner.
Stanton came to the District in 2013 and was principal of Murphy Elementary prior to his stint at Rolland-Warner. Stevens has been a teacher, coach and administrator in the District since 2001.
“As an organization, we are fortunate to have a strong administrative team with leaders who are not only prepared, but excited to take on new challenges,” said LCS Superintendent Matt Wandrie. “We are confident that we have the right people in the right positions to ensure a seamless transition for students and staff.”
