The Lapeer High School Counseling Department invites you to participate in TWO FREE Seminars on August 21 from 5:30-7 pm. Know How to Go! Get the low down on how to prepare and plan for what comes after high school.

Seminar 1 will be offered twice: 5:30-6:15pm and 6:15-7 pm

· Applying to College

· Parchment

· College Visits

· National Test Dates

· October is College Month (We are hosting a FAFSA night, a college fair, etc.)

· Scholarship Searches

· Selecting Appropriate High School Coursework (including Dual Enrollment, AP)

Seminar 2 will be offered from 6:15-7 pm

· Presented by Carrie Gilchrist, financial aid officer at Oakland University. She will “Show us the Money” (or at least where it can come from!)
