Works from LCS art students selected for MAEA show in Flint

Ten Lapeer West Art Students had their work selected to be placed in the Michigan Art Education Association Show at Mott Community College in Flint.

These students are: Trevor Brotzke, Tori Carlson, Isabel Fahim, Vicki Martindale and Brooke Veres for 2-dimensional work. Stephanie Anderson, Kelly Greenman, Shawnie Kamicka, Jesse Luckett and Mary Proulx were honored for 3-dimensional work.

Martindale’s work was also selected for the Michigan Department of Education exhibit. The work of Anderson and Proulx received Top 100 awards for the State.

Greenman’s work was awarded a Top 18 Award for the State and will be part of the Governor’s Traveling Show for the next year!

Three additional students from Lapeer East were selected to go on to the next level of competition: Klayre Gerasmia, Nicole Romolino, and Anne Grossbauer. Romolino also made it into the top 100.
