On Friday, February 7, the Service Learning class at Rolland-Warner hosted a YA Café.  Mrs. Gannon, one of the math teachers at R-W, presented the book Legend by Marie Lu.

Students were able to get tickets from their ELA teachers to participate. Each student who participated received free donuts and chocolate milk. At the conclusion of the event, there were three names drawn and the winners each received a copy of the novel.

The winners were: John Nutt, Melissa Brajdich, Ben Schultz.

The young adult café is designed to promote literacy to all that attend. Funds for the YA Café were donated by a family from Rolland-Warner.
