A positive first school experience is an important step to building a life-long love of learning and a great relationship with school. At 6 p.m. on April 30 at Zemmer Middle School, parents, caretakers and preschool providers can learn more about this next step in the lives of young students. Childcare will be provided.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the essential academic and social skills needed to support a child’s beginning school experience.
Sara Taylor, LCS district learning coach, will share parent guides and tips to help children with kindergarten transitions.
