The Rolland-Warner eighth grade Service Learning hosted a Read-a-Thon March 14,2013. The day was for promoting reading and students had the opportunity to read throughout the day. Also students in all grades received a bag of popcorn in their English classes.

After the project got approved, the Service Learning group sent emails to the teachers, made posters and wrote announcements. The group donated supplies to make the day a success. On the day of the Read-a-Thon, the group made popcorn and everyone received it in their English class to enjoy while reading.
