In an effort to conserve energy at Lynch Elementary, the school is introducing The Green Team: Domnick Robbins, Lily Davis, Amina Dada, Patrick Harris, and David Williams.

These students make daily rounds at the end of the day giving friendly reminders to staff and students to make sure all of electrical equipment and lights are turned off.

Thank you “Green Team” for making the carbon footprint at Lynch Elementary a little smaller!

Last school year, Lapeer Community Schools began participating in an “Energy Essentials” program aimed at conserving energy in all our buildings. Last school year the District saved in excess of $100,000 in energy costs due, in large part, to the efforts of staff members.
