Nearly 500 excited students embarked on an uncharted journey this morning. The bell rang at 8:29 a.m. at the new, re-purposed Turrill Elementary operating on the year-round academic calendar.

The re-opening of Turrill is just one facet of Lapeer Community Schools’ long-term strategic plan.
