Whitetails Unlimited donates $3,400 to Rolland-Warner Outdoor Club for archery program

Jeremy Keefer (center), of Whitetails Unlimited, poses with an excited group of sixth graders at Rolland-Warner Middle School. These students will all benefit from the Whitetails’ generous donation to support the new “Archery in the Classroom” program at R-W.

Jeremy Keefer, a Lapeer resident representing Whitetails Unlimited, presented Rolland-Warner Middle School teacher Mike Wiltse with a check for more than $3,400 on Friday. The funds will support Rolland-Warner’s “Archery in the Classroom” program.

The program is set to begin in the fall and will incorporate physical education classes and the school’s growing Outdoor Club.

Founded in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited is a national non-profit conservation organization that dedicates resources to the betterment of the white-tailed deer and its environment.

From all of us at Lapeer Community Schools, we thank you for this generous donation.

  1. I love to play archery because when i was a kid, i always idolized robin hood. My girlfriend also loves archery as well as my grandmother. Perhaps archery runs in our blood. .*’., Yours truly supplements blog
