On Wednesday, April 25, Lapeer East sent a team of students to the 30th Annual Flint Metro League Math/Science competition. The team consisted of the following students:
Mackenzie Napier Katelyn Hom Matt Riley Miranda Gavette Kala Cousineau Sam Dayton Alex Henson Jackie Dayton Andrew Olson Patrick Ricchi Dan Sornig Megan Lamphere Adrianna Gates Jacob BonesteelLapeer East tied for first place in the team competition and took fifth place overall. Additionally, Mackenzie Napier, Katelyn Hom, Matt Riley, Andrew Olson, and Adrianna Gates also earned individual medals.
