Two Digital Media Arts student from Lapeer Ed-Tech are finalists in a national video contest. Abigail Kirk (Lapeer East) and her partner Ravyn Eslick (Imlay City) have made it to the top 60 of the Courageous Persuaders Video contest. The focus of the contest is to create a commercial warning middle school students about the dangers of underage drinking. Hundreds of submissions were entered, we are very excited to announce that the girls made it to the top 60.
Now you can help: As part of the top 60, Abi and Ravyn are eligible for the the State Farm Fan Favorite award. The award is given to the video on the Courageous Persuaders YouTube channel with the most likes. This is a $2,500 cash prize from State Farm Insurance.
