West’s Cullen Turczyn and Zeshawn Jones-Parker win AAU basketball tournament

zandcullen — Cullen Turczyn (left) and Zeshawn Jones-Parker are members of the Mid-Michigan Lakers U-17 team. The team went 7-0 over the weekend and won the Up North Challenge in Mount Pleasant.

Lapeer West juniors Cullen Turczyn and Zeshawn Jones-Parker, members of the Mid-Michigan Lakers U-17 team, won the U-17 championship at the Up North Challenge in Mt. Pleasant over the weekend. Turczyn and Jones-Parkers are both starters on the team that went 7-0 in the tournament en route to the championship.

Turczyn scored 17 points in the finale and Jones-Parker added 14
