Here’s a message from Heidi Leadley about an upcoming event in support of Lapeer Community Schools’ LINKS Program:
As some of you may know and many of you may not know, Lapeer is going to have its first ever Laps for LINKS 5K run/walk on April 21st in downtown Lapeer. The proceeds from this event will go toward the LINKS program district-wide. I wanted to send this out so everyone is aware of this event and what they can do to help support it. Please click the attached links to our application as well as sponsor and vendor forms. I have also sent hard copies of all of these forms to each school building’s LINKS committee. I encourage you to distribute them to friends, family, and people in the community.
There is also a website, lapsforlinks.com where people can go to register online.
The LINKS 5K committee has been helping me with this event, but there is a lot to do; if anyone else is interested in helping, please let me know and I will keep you informed about meetings and what you can do to help.
Thank you in advance for making this event a success!
