Rolland-Warner students win best documentary honor at film festival

As you may recall, two students from Rolland-Warner produced a short documentary that they submitted to the Kingsbury Country Day School Film Festival.

Here’s how that worked out:

In the Best Documentary category, the judges recognized Connor Lafferre (Columbiaville) and Marissa Pruitt (Columbiaville), 8th grade students from Rolland-Warner Middle School in Lapeer, for their film “Heroic” which tries to answer the question, “What makes a hero?”

Great job guys!
