Groups of students from Rolland-Warner Middle School and Lynch Elementary participated in the Lapeer County Walk for Warmth in downtown Lapeer over the weekend.

The annual event is held to raise money to help needy families pay their home heating bills. Walk for Warmth is a statewide fundraiser; participants walk a one-mile course in the cold for the cause.
