We were notified at approximately 12:45 PM today that Ed Tech was in “lockdown” due to a security issue. Ed Tech Administration contacted law enforcement and personnel from the Lapeer Police Department, including the canine unit, as well as the Sheriff’s Dept arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.Upon their arrival, it was decided that the most appropriate response would be to go into lock-down mode.

Law enforcement determined that there was no outside threat and after an inspection of the building, they gave the all-clear. The students were dismissed at their normal time.
