LAPEER, Michigan — Marisa Liburdi, twice an all-league performer on the basketball court at West, will play college basketball at Tiffin University in Ohio next fall.

Liburdi, a senior, was accompanied by family members and friends on Wednesday as she signed her letter of intent.

Marisa, who holds a 3.6 grade point average, has been named a Flint Metro League Scholar Athlete. She also lettered in varsity volleyball for three years. She plans on studying communications at Tiffin.
