On Monday, Maple Grove Elementary students began their Mustang Pride Program. Mustang Pride is a program designed to help teach students about respect and responsibility and how to be a good citizen at their school.
Each day a new word or idea will be introduced during the morning announcements that will help teach important “life skills”. Students who master these life skills have a chance to earn B.U.G. (being unusually good) awards. These awards will be collected outside the office and each week one name from each class will be drawn, and that student can pick a prize from the Mustang Pride showcase.
Students who are struggling with the life skills concepts can be issued a life skills Red Reminder. Any students who did not receive a Red Reminder during the week will receive a Go Green credit. Any student who has earned four Go Green Credits will participate in the school’s monthly Go Green activities.
This is an awesome program!
