The Lapeer West girls’ golf team, fresh off a regional championship victory on Thursday, is now ranked no. 11 in division two as it prepares to make a run at the state championship this week. The team set a school record  for 18 holes (339) in the regional championship, besting the previous record by a whopping 29 shots.
