If you haven’t gotten your copy of The Lapeer County Press this week, it’s worth a read. On 9-A there’s a great story about a partnership between some area schools and the Made-in-Michigan Film Society.
From the Lapeer County Press:
The Made-in-Michigan Film Society is partnering with Lapeer Area Schools to offer a special all-day film making workshop for middle school and high school students. The workshop will take place on Friday, October 21 when the students will work with film industry professionals to learn about film making and create a short film of their own.
“It’s amazing how young this all starts,” said film society founder Wally Green.
This is a great opportunity for students who have interest in film studies and production to learn the trade from professionals in the field.
