This Saturday, September 23, Cascadden Lounge (4099 S. Lapeer Road in Metamora) is hosting an all Lapeer Schools Reunion (aka “reNew-Union”). The event is being spearheaded by Brian G. Skwirsk, a 1980 graduate of Lapeer West High School, as a fundraiser for a friend and fellow Lapeer graduate, Todd Powers, who is fighting an inoperable blood clot in his leg (link to his GoFundMe Page).

The event starts at 6 pm with a comedy show to follow from 7-8:30 pm.

Lapeer alumnus Deb Barber (6X Grammy nominee) and her band, Barbed Wire, will also perform. There will be Karaoke as well as a Karaoke Contest by Mike Smith.

The event will also include a silent auction and raffles. There is no cost to attend, though donations are welcome. All school employees are also invited.
