The Lapeer High School Athletic Department is excited to announce that Chad Kenny has been selected to be the next Lapeer Lightning girls’ varsity soccer coach.  

Coach Kenny has been associated with Lapeer soccer for many years, as a coach at the high school level and the club level.  He is currently the LHS varsity boys’ soccer coach.  Coach Kenny is a well established and respected teacher in the district.  

Coach Kenny brings a wealth of knowledge to the pitch.  He creates positive relationships with his athletes and holds them to a strong set of standards. Coach Kenny’s teams give maximum effort, demonstrate great sportsmanship, and work incredibly hard for their success. We look forward to him leading the girls’ program with the same commitment and intensity.
