LCS hires two secondary administrators

On Wednesday, Lapeer Community Schools Superintendent Matt Wandrie announced the hiring of two administrators at the secondary level.

Ryan West, from Clawson Schools in Metro Detroit, will join the staff as the new (temporary) Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Rolland Warner Middle School.

Brian Shelson, from Gross Point South High School, will be the new Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at East High School.

Shelson’s position will follow the transition in 2014-15 to the new, consolidated Lapeer High School.

“Both men emerged from a very talented candidate pool,” Wandrie said. “They will help grow our mission to become the true District of Choices.”
