French students in Mrs. Badke’s class at Turrill learned about Mardi Gras today on Fat Tuesday, historically a day to eat rich, fatty foods, before the long Lenten season begins on Wednesday. The students reviewed their conversational French, made crafts and ate some cake. Avoir un grand jour!
