The Mayfield Elementary community enjoyed a night out on January 27th as part of a literacy night and pancake dinner. To start the evening, students, parents, and staff caught their dinner, flipped pancakes, on their plates (with only a few pancakes landing on the floor). Then, families participated in various literacy activities, including bingo, book-making, literacy-based technology activities, puppet shows, and story writing.
With over 260 people served dinner for the evening and all enjoying the many hands-on activities throughout the building, the event was quite the success and was enjoyed by all.
