On Monday, members of Lapeer Educational Support Personnel attended first aid training at Zemmer Middle School as part of their ongoing professional development. LESP members are primarily paraprofessionals and secretaries. Members learned how to administer life-saving techniques in the event of an emergency including CPR. They were also trained in the use of an AED, which earlier this year saved the life of a Swartz Creek high school student.
