LCS students participate in Science and Math Extravaganza at SVSU

Seventh graders Alexa Ringle and Noelle Bon, pictured with eighth grader Alexis Mosher (right), all participated in the Science and Math Extravaganza for kids at SVSU this month.

Eight LCS middle school students participated in the annual Science and Math Extravaganza for Kids (SMEK) at Saginaw Valley State University earlier this month. The event was put on by students and professors at SVSU.

There were numerous topics for the various grade levels including bridge engineering, polarity, polymer science and the ever-popular egg-drop engineering challenge.

Kudos to all the students who continue to cultivate their desire to learn. Great job!
