Michael Spradlin, a local author of 22 books, spoke to a group of more than 100 students at Rolland-Warner Middle School this morning. Spradlin’s appearance was a part of the school’s monthly Young Adult Book Talk, a program aimed at keeping students excited about reading.

Spradlin described some of his books to the students and spoke at length about the life of a writer.
