Lapeer East High School will welcome back Jake Long, Pro Bowl offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins, to his old stomping grounds on Friday night. In honor of his many accomplishments as a three-sport athlete for Lapeer East, an incredible career at the University of Michigan and in the NFL, East will be retiring his jersey number at halftime of the 7 p.m. game versus Fenton.

In addition, both Lapeer East and Fenton will be supporting awareness of breast health and breast cancer at the game. Players on both teams will be wearing Pink athletic tape and displaying Pink Ribbons on their helmets. Coaches will also be wearing pink hats.

Canisters will be on site for donations to Susan G. Komen For a Cure.
