That’s a very scary situation. Our children spend moe time at shook than at home. Columbine than 9-11. How many times do I have to go and get my child out of school because I’m scared about their safety? But it happens all over movie theaters, streets, fights. I’m sick of living in a world that I’m scared to let my child go to school. Home schooling is sounding better and better.

  2. Mr. Wandrie, thank you for addressing this heartbreaking issue with us. As a new parent to this school district my first reaction to this most recent school shooting was, what is Lapeer School District doing to protect my children? Where can I find more information on what your staff is doing to protect our kids? At the administrative level, what is being done to prevent a school shooting in our district?
